Registration Agreement

Thank you for your interest in becoming a member on the Knowledgism Practice Group forum.  Please read and note the steps below that you will be required to complete before your membership can be confirmed. We need to have applicants do these steps in order to verify you are a real person versus one of the many daily spam bots that attempt to pollute the forum.

1.   Accept the terms of agreement at the bottom of this page.
2.   Complete the registration form using a valid email address where you can receive email.  All fields are required.  After submitting your registration form, a welcome email message with the subject line "Welcome to the Knowledgism Practice Group" will be sent to the email address entered on the form.  Please make sure it is correct before submitting your request.
3.   You must reply to the welcome email within ten days.  If your response is not received, your request will be cancelled and it will need to be resubmitted.
4.   After your response has been received, an administrator will accept or deny your request based upon your responses to a few questions that ensure your request demonstrates a genuine interest in the subject and that your intent is not to use the forum as a platform for advertising or spam.
5.   Normally you will receive a second message within twenty-four hours when your request has been accepted.  You must login to the forum with your username and password to confirm your membership.

You agree, through your use of this forum, that you will not post any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, adult material, or otherwise in violation of any International or United States Federal law. You also agree not to post any copyrighted material unless you own the copyright or you have written consent from the owner of the copyrighted material. Spam, flooding, advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are also forbidden on this forum.

Apart from the need to protect us from harm arising from legal issues as enumerated above, we have the policy of not being harmfully argumentative with other members.  By this we mean, we are here to learn from and to assist each other.  The practice of invalidation of others' postings, beliefs or "case" issues that is all too often seen on other forums will not be tolerated here.  It is perfectly fine to propose your own different viewpoint or additional data on issues, but it must be done in a manner that is not invalidative or demeaning to others or in any effort to make them wrong.

The policy of this forum is that we are here to help and inform each other.

Please remember that we do not actively monitor the posted messages, and as such, are not responsible for the content contained within. You have the ability, as you register, to choose your username. We advise that you keep the name appropriate. With this user account you are about to register, you agree to never give your password out to another person except an administrator, for your protection and for validity reasons. You also agree to NEVER use another person's account for any reason. We also HIGHLY recommend you use a complex and unique password for your account, to prevent account theft.

After you register and login to this forum, you will be able to fill out a detailed profile. It is your responsibility to present clean and accurate information. Any information the forum owner or staff determines to be inaccurate or vulgar in nature will be removed, with or without prior notice. Appropriate sanctions may be applicable.

Please note that with each post, your IP address is recorded, in the event that you need to be banned from this forum or your ISP contacted. This will only happen in the event of a major violation of this agreement.

Also note that the software places a cookie, a text file containing bits of information (such as your username and password), in your browser's cache. This is ONLY used to keep you logged in/out.
