Education, Case Notes and Advices / Re: Dynamic Intelligence
Last post by Christian -
I've been reading a bit more on Roger's site tonight and I found this great article on intelligence:
https://www.abilityconsultants.com/intelligence/

I might have read it before, but I don't really remember. But it could very well be as I've been on this site often in the past. But it seems my definition above was heavily inspired by this article and when I was clean slating Intelligence and began to get the full picture of the concept it all came together.

But now after reading it (like for the first time, in a new, independent unit of time) I understand why Roger wanted me to share our exchange!

Especially the last part (bold emphasis by me) is very close to what I included in the definition.

Quote
If an executive is to star and to personally survive in this current age of extreme change, and if he or she is to lead his or her team and discharge his or her corporate responsibility in a winning fashion in these times and in the new age, then he or she must have his or her faculty of intelligence operating optimally. He or she must be able to perceive and learn, must be able to evaluate importance and discern applicability, and must be able to envision, plan, and implement the application of this knowledge.

But honestly, I don't remember whether or not I've read it. But I tend to say yes. I was just not ready to grok it when I first read it and it "clicked" when I clean slated the term.  :D

I thought I should share... I just found and read the article.

Best regards,
Christian

Brilliant mate!

Can I copy and paste it in my Glossary of Terms?

As I catch it, intelligence is more an ability than a quality and you described in it the points we could use to get a better result. Using our precise perception, analysing and evaluating all the data we recollected from it, and now adding the Roger's Success Formula (thanks for putting my attention on this again), we now have more precise tools to make our dreams and actuality.

Worth putting into practice right now!!!

Jorge.

Yes!
I printed out Roger's Formula and gave it Sabine to "think" with and I had a lenghty debate with her step-father (he is a great card player, won many local tournaments).
I talked with him about what definition of intelligence he's using when playing cards and then I talked with him about Roger's "Success Formula". He cognited a lot and while talking about it he came up with many examples of what is what in card playing (e.g. what the impediments are, falshoods).
He specifically asked me if Knowledge is an inner source of Empowerment, which I affirmed. "Yes, of course, one of the most important sources of Empowerment is the quality of Knowledge, not mere collection of data". But we looked at other sources of Empowernment too. It was a great talk.
I enjoy having deep conversations.

Hello Jorge,
I'm glad you like this concept and definition of Dynamic Intelligence.

I am still working on it a little bit and will post an update in a few days.
In itself this definition works very good as is.
What I am going to add is another dimension (or layer) of dynamic application of intelligence. Beyond mere problem solving.

The current statement says: "... — and then to learn from the observations and apply this knowledge with the needed purposeful intensity to adapt to new, unresolved, or persistent conditions of existence, ..."

This is good and valid, but there is another dimension intelligence (and the things from the beginning of the definition statement) can be applied to: "... — and then to learn from the observations and apply this knowledge with the needed purposeful intensity to adapt to new, unresolved, or persistent conditions of existence, or to apply in creative, artistic, philosophical, technical, engineering, or scientific exploration or aspirations —"

We often see intelligence as a mere "problem solving" faculty. But it dawned on me that intelligence at the beginning was used for exploration, too and to follow our dreams and aspirations. We might have split off from the heavens to solve the problem of boredom (that's application to a negative/unwanted), but the positive want and drive (or aspiration) was to explore other options!
Therefore I am adding this layer of pursuing dreams, creating beauty, discovering truth, inventing technologies and engineering, and exploring possibilities to the definition of dynamic intelligence. Both: the handling of unwanteds and the pursuit of wanteds, by use of intelligence, result in envisioned change and improved conditions and options.

I am still working on the definition. While it's solid and working as is, there are still some little nuances I want to include. As said, this is more an essay now, rather than a definition. :-)
But honestly, even when it's getting a bit longer I don't feel it's too long or hard to read. The sequence of the definition is deliberately chosen, starting with perception, discernment, estimation/evaluation, going over to learning and retaining knowledge and finally purposeful application with the right amount of intensity/effort and at the end naming the WHATFOR.

Thank you Jorge, and again, I'm glad it is something you find useful, even worth putting in your glossary! Just please be a bit patient  [hat]

For me: I am still blowing so many misconceptions, some even not directly related to intelligence but still somewhat linked. It's like I am rebooting my "operating system".  ;D

And with the rise of Computer Learning we have to compete with the so called "artificial intelligence". The main factor that is different is we are living, dreaming, aspiring, spiritual beings who can truly be present, perceive, envision... machines only can perform sophisticated circuits and programm commands. But with the use of intelligence we can put the machines to work so they serve us -- and not the other way around!  :D

Have a great day!

Hello friends.

I had an email exchange with Roger yesterday and he asked me to post it to the forum.
Roger's website, the one I am refering to in the mail, is here:

Roger,
I've been marveling and cogniting on your Success Formula from your Ability Consultants website yesterday and today.

I've looked at it before but yesterday I was on a Clean Slating spree of the word "intelligence" and was reminded of it.

This is a real vital knowledge you formulated, Roger!

I used it today to analyze one of my projects that is not succeeding the way it could (and should). Falshoods and Impediments popped to view and I was able to see how it all stopped the Abilities, Learning/Knowledge and Drive out of the project. And I immediately started writing down ways to address the impediments and falsehoods.

As to my Clean Slating of the word intelligence, I ended up formulating a definition of (Dynamic) Intelligence.
It's not perfect but it works for me much better than the standard dictionary definitions.

What say you? Would you add something, remove or change something?
I appreciate your feedback very much:
Quote
(Dynamic) Intelligence
the ability to clearly perceive and distinguish differences, similarities, and samenesses, to recognize patterns and understand compositions, contexts, and relations, to estimate value, significance, truthfulness, and reliability — and then to learn from the observations and apply this knowledge with the required purposeful intensity to adapt to new, unresolved, or persistent conditions of existence, to envision, plan, and implement effective solutions to problems — and thereby create wanted change, achieve goals, shape one’s environment, and enhance the availability and quality of future options.
Most definitions are static. On a second thought, it's more of an essay rather than a definition. :-)
It covers many aspects of Intelligence and is dynamic and feels (almost) complete for me.
And by the way, with this definition I was able to make more use of your formula above.

Would love hearing some input from you on this.

Have a great afternoon!
Christian

Mate, this is quite brilliant and wonderful! Please post it along with my response to the forum!

Your comment:

"Most definitions are static. On a second thought, it's more of an essay rather than a definition. :-)

"It covers many aspects of Intelligence and is dynamic and feels (almost) complete for me.
"And by the way, with this definition I was able to make more use of your formula above."

Your comment is exact and complete . . . This, because we are addressing a Dynamic Intelligence.
Most definitions in Dictionaries simply address static simple conditions, not living, changing conditions. But then most people, particularly those in professional academia, are stuck reduced to limited fixed conditions.

What we are addressing here is LIVE, LIFE! It is an evolving and changing state of affairs.
Roger

I am still having wins on my Clean Slate and the situation I was addressing.
Roger, thank you for the wonderful acknowlegment and recognition. Makes it even more real to me  :D

All the best everybody,
Christian

Education, Case Notes and Advices / WE ARE NOT ALL THE SAME

@V$     (.!

Copy pasted below is an email reply to a colleague (not on our forum) who I've known for years. He did the old Scientology thing, but quickly "outgrew it." He is a PhD, and all of that, and of course is quite sure his truths are more truth that any others' truth. Historically, I've experienced him get quite testy if one sees things differently to how or what he sees.

My this morning response to him:

Quote
 Mate.

I couldn’t clearly hear your presentation as the show progressed, that because we had the music interfering with my reception of your voice . . . recall we had a fixed Home Page of some other site (probably Zoom) stuck on our screens from which the music kept running.

I simply gave up on trying to decipher what you were saying . . . giving oneself non-comprehensions is not good sense . . . I value my clarity too much to allow it.

The other thing I don’t do is the “Meditation” thingie that has become fashionable in online get togethers. I happen to operate as an infinite awarely present spiritual Being. Doing the routine “center yourself” only collapses and introverts my aware presence, and worse if I follow and allow the session’s leader’s instructions to direct me. I attended the SMN Sunday meditation session once (run by Peter Fenig at the time) . . .  man, being connected to all the attendees at the time, was the most universe collapsing thing I have knowingly experienced (this lifetime).

The other thing, you wrote: “I was (you were) conscious, as I was (you were) reading the LOVE meditation, that it wasn't so much to your liking as Prime Mover.

On this point, there is a whole lot of science on the issue of Personal Items --- or to use your term, “Prime Mover.”

It happens Love IS your item . . . not my item. My item is “Knowingness” or “Knowledge” (as was Alan’s.)  Virgina’s was/is “Creation.”

Here’s the science behind it.

Many years ago, in 1963, Hubbard also addressed this issue. In his case he addressed it on the basis of “OWN GOALS.”

It happens, we each have our own MOST WANTED WANT . . . i.e., what is it we each most want to Be, Do, Have, Experience.

The answer to that question is different between individuals.

It happens that one’s most wanted want is the hottest item on the case. Get it wrong and you have an explosion on your hands. And when individuals think or feel their personal item is being opposed, invalidated or made nothing of, you have major reactive upset.

I noticed you appreciated my write-up of THE EIGHT BASIC ELEMENTS AND AREAS OF SPIRITUAL POWERS as enumerated in my submission to the Russian “Open Dialogue” call.

How  THE EIGHT BASIC ELEMENTS AND AREAS OF SPIRITUAL POWERS came to be delineated was that we were following the thread from 1963 relating to the deployment of our spiritual Life-Force in pursuing our most Wanted Wants, as in Own Goals, etc.

What turned up in the research was the commonality of these Eight Basic Elements and Areas of Our Spiritual Powers.

It demonstrated that there is not simply ONE expression of our powers, faculties or expression of existence that is most important or “right” for everyone. Each individual has his own different focused “most important” that empowers and aberrates him/her.

Historically, one can observe groups loose membership, wars get declared, enemies are made all because of the invalidation and/or rejection of individual peoples’ “Most Wanted Want.”

I believe I posted my submission to the Russian call for essays for their "Open Dialogue" earlier on the forum. In case my memory is off, here again are the 8 basic spiritual powers:

Quote
To-date, good progress has been made in attaining this ideal by the team I have worked with over the last seven decades . . . however, the findings published under the title Ascensionism® are as yet not broadly known. The “Gatekeepers” of scientism shun “the not invented here.”
Here is an example of what should be known and put into practice if we are to enjoy a harmonious and prosperously operating civilization. It speaks directly to our spiritual human existence, its Presence, Life-Force, Volition, Characteristics and Virtues—all being elements required if we are to enjoy the harmoniously co-created, co-empowering and prosperous civilization this Open Dialogue Project envisions.
THE EIGHT BASIC ELEMENTS AND AREAS OF SPIRITUAL POWERS
Each of the 8 basic areas: 1. HONOR 2. PRESENCE, 3. LOVE, 4. TRUTH, 5. RELATIONSHIPS, 6. KNOWLEDGE, 7. INTEGRITY, and 8. VOLITION & CAUSATION contains vast areas of knowledge, mastery and awareness. It will take many years to get them all fully into an OPTIMUM VOLITIONAL STATE of existence.
1.
HONOR: The honest and truthful recognition, validation and co-empowerment of others and their positive existence and causation, along with that of our own presence and causation.
2.
PRESENCE: You being wholly willing and able to be powerfully PRESENT, exhibiting your wants and intentions.
3.
LOVE: The honoring and appreciation of the native goodness, rightness and truth of the spiritual presence of those you connect with, and the harmonious facilitation of their participation and co-creative causation in the Life you share.
4.
TRUTH: the exact manifestation of what is wanted and intended by an emanating individual along with the exact receipt, apperception and comprehension by the receiver of what was emanated by the causative presence.
5.
RELATIONSHIPS: the result of choosing to be in ALIGNMENT with another’s presence and intentions for future conditions of existence.
6.
KNOWLEDGE: the awareness and appreciation of both who and what exists and what potentially can be brought into being to enhance existence.
7.
INTEGRITY: wholeness and completeness in alignment with the truthful actuality of intention.
8.
VOLITION & CAUSATION: without the willingness, capacity and actuality of causation and creativity via the emanation of Spiritual Life-Force, there is no expression of the above seven potentials of existence.
Each of these elements of your spiritual presence and power can be expressed positively in an empowering manner, or negatively in a destructive manner.
Each of these elements of your spiritual existence, virtues and powers can be addressed with procedures for their empowerment and increased facility of practice and application. This is well
researched and proven effective. Yet, most of humanity have no particular awareness of these component powers and virtues of their spiritual existence.
Knowledge of the materials outlined above as our Eight Basic Spiritual Powers if known and positively practiced by humanity would result in a wondrously enjoyable and prosperous civilization.
Conversely, what we currently see and experience is the constant violation of the principles espoused in the discovery of THE EIGHT BASIC ELEMENTS AND AREAS OF SPIRITUAL POWERS.
International politics is rife with the constant dishonoring of

Wins & Successes In Application / Re: Clearing away enormous charge on "Exchange with others"
Last post by Roger Boswarva -
Well done on the solo action, Anthony!!  And boy, oh boy, what a hot item to get handled that "not wanting to be known" as the blocker to receiving exchanges, must have been!!

I too have had the "not wanting to be known" solution deployed (so I could not be made experience the abuse from "others/another") . . . it is, in actuality, a major self sabotage that caused me to actually become unpresent and non-existent to others . . . all in an effort to not be affected by their abuse!

Silly, silly solutions we can have running on involuntary replication!

Roger
