The Scientific and Medical Network has asked for proposals for presentations at an important conference titled "
Beyond The Brain"
Proposals had to be limited to 150 words (M& . . . these PhD types can be bloody verbose as they talk around in circles going nowhere . . . so the boys requesting the submissions were wise to limit the pitches to 150 words.
The title of the conference rather says it all . . . and I say that in the context that they are too often still arguing about
where is the mind and not yet really clear on the point that the mind is not you, and visa-versa . . . and their other nonsense, since the days they emerged out from the shadow of religious prejudicial threat is the avoidance of the notion of our spiritual existence . . . so now they can only be "learned" if they refer to "Consciousness" as the entity that runs the show from inside your head.

THE SPIRITUAL LIFE-FORCE THAT ANIMATES HUMANITY AND ALL LIFE-FORMS ON EARTH IS INFINITE IN ITS PRESENCE AND NOT LIMITED TO THE DIMENSON OF THE BRAIN.
This proposition is not conjecture or the result “reasoning,” but is instead the result of direct observation and practice of the actuality of our spiritual powers and causation.
This research began seventy-plus years ago into the capacity of the world’s best athletes to perform and cause as they chose. That research endeavor resulted in discovering the facts of our actual spiritual nature, capacity and powers; and how they can be (and have been) deployed in the creation of our current existence.
This may sound a little woo-woo, but the research also developed exercises and procedures by which ANY honest and unbiased individual can him or herself experience these truths and infinite capacity for causation.
As infinite spiritual presences, our awareness and emanations influence all of existence.
Bio: Roger E. Boswarva is a retired Fellow of the British Institute of Management for whom he conducted management performance training at the BIM and also at the Management Center Europe, in Brussels. Roger is also a Certified Performance Technologist with the International Society for Performance Improvement.

The difficulty in dealing with this kind of people is they can only think in terms of what you can measure. But all you can measure are the products of the source of creation and never the source itself.
I don't think the task can be fulfilled satisfactorily on a solely intelectual level, without putting some kind of processing into practice by these guys. I mean without experiential insight no counscious understanding. Only talk and reasoning.
And even the term counsciousness is used inflationary without clearly outlined definitions.
It's like talking about God with 10 religious scholars from different traditions and denominations.
You are a brave man, Roger. :-D
I wouldn't be able to confront this amount of spiritual illiteracy and try make them see and understand.
But then, you're in the business for a loong loooong time. [hat]

Ummm, yes! It has so far been a rather brusing affair dealing with these guys . . . but, HELL, getting brused is good for the Learning Curve!!
I actually found I learned something, even got some insights, from the abuse sent my way by these arrogant types.

I agree with Christian, a high percentage of science people will accept just what is metered, and the non religious guys will argue that they can explain all spiritual manifestations with psychology terms and "diseases", which cannot be metered, but "tested"... tests have value but almost all the time its interpretation goes wrong because they started with explanations of things from a "souless man" point of view.
Difficult to explain when people dont know about people and think they are only 80 kg of meat and bones, so I agree again with Christian, ... Brave, kind and patient Rog !

Thanks Jorge! . . . Yes, it will be a challenge if I am selected. The big problem, to be honest is, WHAT TO PRESENT!
You see, what we guys here have as knowledge learned is rather unreal to most folks, and certainly collides with the prejudices of the PhD mechanical sciences set.
I can well imagine heads exploding even on the notion contained in the Heading Paragraph of my proposal. . . . . Like, whadya mean "infinite Presence!?!"

Well I usually start with new public with the very low low gradient hearing their definitions of you, soul, mind, brain and spirit, sometimes the body, this gives me the background where to start and see which part of their definitions we could agree and then introduce the questions of “who decides to move the body?, who decides to recall a memory?, who decides to create a thought?, who sees that thought?” and then introduce the concept of spirit as life-force or life-energy which has infinite capabilities, etc. Sometimes I use the "car" or "computer" analogy to describe the human being and its parts.

Haha, no I didn't... yet, just one single person at a time.
So nice to be reading this stuff.
Was having a lot of aha's , realizations about perceiving the brain, and what it connected to.
I watched the "third eye spies" documentary about the remote viewing experiments that happened at stanford.
These were all physicists, and concluded, that perception is connected to everything physical and material in the universe.
You just have to practice permeating and focusing your attention on things. Also, that in the remote viewing state, could be viewing past/present or future. Part of the spiritual universe gold zone state that knowledgism talks about.
Also interesting that those guys had all done the scio training of the time, in the seventies.
A very interesting history of natural human abilities, and potential.
