Title: THE ART OF DYING WELL
Post by: Roger Boswarva on March 31, 2024, 06:31:28 AM

THE ART OF DYING WELL

Peter Fenwick is the Chairman Emeritus of the Scientific & Medical Network, indeed one of its founding luminaries. A very sweet soul.

His signature continuing contribution to SMN is the Sunday evening (UK time) meditation . . . though I must tell you, meditation is not my “thing.” In due course I’ll have to do a write-up on why . . . but for starters, I will say that the big error, in my view, is the first thing meditators routinely do is to “center themselves.” The error in that is that they have then reduced themselves from their more true infinite presence to a dot; from infinite relating and awareness to introspection into the solid fixidity of inside their heads.

I once checked out the Sunday meditation run by Peter. To do so, I connected with the group participating. At the point of me first connecting I perceived a group of Beings present, outwardly looking and eager for the evening, but instantly when Peter gave them the command to “center themselves” I experienced their inversion and looking in to become quite solid which, to me, was rather unpleasant.

But, apart from all of that, Peter is a Star . . . a PhD graduate of Cambridge and a real trail blazer in opening up the truths at the junction of the scientific endeavor and the truths of our spiritual existence and condition.

Here is Peter delivering his presentation to TEDxBrussels - on The art of Dying Well

Of course, we here as members of the practice of Ascensionism® know that we can choose to die wisely. (As Paul Fairchild did a few years ago to beat the agony of bladder cancer.)

This was a wonderful TED talk, Roger.

As you know my Mother passed away recently.
What I haven't mentioned, she was on heavy medication (pain killers) for years.
A 3/4th of a year ago she was in a hospital and had to be sedated (anaesthetised) to do something on her body.
At that night she visited me and we reconciled a lot of strive we had. I actually thought she died that night because she used words that were meant to solace me, as if she wanted to say good bye. I answered it is ok if you go but it would be nice if you would stay around for some time longer. I sent her imagary of my son and her interacting lovingly together. I was very relieved when I learned she came back from the sedation all right.
Since then until the day she died (approx 9 month later) our relationship was totally different. More harmonious. I knew she could go every day.

Yep, I did just now reach to her and connected to then make her more fully aware of her true spiritual presence, state of Being, size and capacity to choose and perform . . .
It was quite surprising the speed and enormity of her response, she so willingly and ably responded to the perception presented to her . . . and as she expanded in awareness, she happily, even delightedly, thanked me for the help.

That she may have the path to ascend and become the huge being she is.

A big hug for you my friend.
