Re: OTHER SOURCED ADVICE

"GRATITUDE"
IS THE BUZZ-WORD AMONG THE “WOO-WOO” SET
I PREFER THE CONCEPT OF APPRECIATION
While reading the attached (pdf) document I was doing my usual analysis of what was being conveyed as to worth and correctness, etc.
Part of that analysis was for me to evaluate the word choices used in the context of how more exactly the concepts the author is trying to convey would have occurred had he used different words.
“Gratitude” and “Consciousness” are two words getting beaten to death yet, in my view, are not only erroneously used but generally NOT fully understood by those who both use them and those who read them.
Testing the “drill” (process) recommended by the author of the attached article, but substituting appreciation for his word Gratitude, I had an enormous ascension into a higher realm of causative power.
Gratitude has connotations of being at effect as a receiver to me. Whereas, appreciation has connotations of being causatively aware of recognizing the value and validity of something and acting to validate and even enhance it.
And that is exactly what I experienced in my ascending cognition . . . I did first use his word “gratitude.” Blah, nothing, no Life-Force upgrade. Then I thought, what other concept/synonym could I use to get the upgrade needed?
POW! The difference was startling.
The nice definition below is from the on-line Merriam Webster.
