AN EXAMPLE OF BOTTOM-UP THINKING IN SCIENCE
I do recommend a close watch and listen to this video presentation by Marylin Monk (a fellow Aussie) on her research work and discoveries.
Marylin and I are both members of the Scientific & Medical Network and Galileo Commission.
Her discoveries are quite huge . . . but, note the position or vector from which her work was done and the outcome produced by the position she began with and from.
Marylin began her work, as almost all physical scientists do, from the “Effect Position” of viewing and investigating existence . . .
That is, all that Marylin perceived and observed was analyzed in the context of her position, reality and belief systems about our existence “in the scheme of things” as being PART OF THE OUTCOME AND EFFECT OF THE CAUSATION OF WHAT IS, RATHER THAN FROM THE POSITION OF BEING SENIOR TO AND PART OF THE CAUSATION OF THIS UNIVERSE.
It is an exercise in trying to align what is perceived from the position of not having caused anything of existence, and of being effect of it all and in mystery about it.
As you all will have observed, my research approach has been the reverse of that.
Long ago, I observed I had had a part in the causation of the physical existence we currently experience. My approach since that discovery has been to elucidate and make known the particulars of who we actually are and how and by what means we brought about the existence of “reality” as is argued about within the scientific community.
My work has not been an exercise in theoretical propositions or “think-abouts.” My work has been solely about what demonstrably works in the real world, originally based in the arena of athletic competition and performance, but later in the realm of all of human activity.
The test of our findings has always been: DOES IT WORK IN THE REAL WORLD, DOES IT ENABLE US TO PERFORM MORE OPTIMALLY AND ATTAIN THE EXPECT REAL WORLD RESULTS.
In other words, our test has been performance based: not some sort of intellectual fit with theoretical modelling.
