GOOD ADVICE FROM AN OLD FRIEND

This copied post below is from an old friend from my days in London and St. Hill.  In actuality, Sandy came onto Scn lines as a result of attending my Introductory Lectures when I was running the "New Public" Divisions in London 1967-68. Sandy recently recently wrote to me about how amazed she was at the effect my lecture had on her in those days long ago.
In her own right, Sandy went on to create an event that filled Wembly Stadium (the site of the London Olympic Games) for folks wanting enhance themselves spiritually. This was an event she personally put on, not via any organizational connection.

She is quite a Lady, now living back home in  a beautiful location overlooking the rising sun over the Pacific Ocean close to the most Easterly part of Australia.

I personally had an experiential insight reading the below copied missive from her when I applied item #8 . . . I experienced and erased the the involuntary replication noted therein . . . and now I understand why I too often experienced disharmony at a spiritual level with others.

So now I am a happier camper being able to enjoy an automatically more gracious relationship with others.

Here is Sandy's missive:

PREPARATION TO HELP ACCESS SPIRITUAL ABILITIES

There are things we can consciously choose to do that may help raise our vibration and make us more receptive to our spiritual nature. This is not so much about developing new spiritual abilities as becoming aware of abilities we already have. Many things may come naturally to us, but have been forgotten or become less accessible while incarnated in 3D.
How about we work on one stage at a time? It is a good idea to feel we have genuinely accomplished something before moving on to the next stage. It is not a race. There is little benefit in rushing ahead before we have established that something works for us, not just for five minutes, but as a stable part of who we are.

STAGE ONE: CREATING A BETTER FOUNDATION

1.Listen to your gut feeling or inner quiet voice.
2.Offer a calm, non-judgmental presence to others.
3.Choose understanding and compassion over anger or reaction.
4.Take deliberate breaks from electronic screens and news.
5.Spend time outside in nature to clear the mind.

STAGE TWO: CHANGING OUR EVERYDAY RESPONSES

6.Notice when a conversation turns towards harsh judgment and gently redirect it towards empathy or solutions.
7.Before reacting to news or a difficult situation, pause and take three deep breaths. Choose a calm response rather than an emotional reaction.
8.When feeling critical of others, ask yourself, ‘What might this person be going through that I cannot see?’
9.Notice three simple, good things each day to help shift your focus away from external drama.
10.Choose the company and environment that support your spiritual growth, while remaining comfortable with your own individual path.

STAGE THREE: CLEARING THE WAY FOR INNER KNOWING

11. Learn to distinguish inner knowing from thoughts, wishes and fears. The mind can imagine many things. Inner knowing may feel quite different. Learning to recognise the difference helps us develop discernment.
12. Release the need to control how things turn out. When we are less attached to particular outcomes, we may become more open to possibilities we would otherwise overlook.
13. Let go of fear wherever possible. Fear can influence what we perceive and how we interpret it. Feeling safer within ourselves can help us approach unfamiliar experiences with greater clarity.

STAGE FOUR: ALLOWING OUR ABILITIES TO EMERGE

14. Allow abilities to develop naturally rather than trying to force them. There is no need to chase unusual experiences or compare our progress with others. Each person's development may be different.
15. Be willing to question your own assumptions. Stay open to new understanding without automatically accepting everything as truth.
16. Discernment is just as important as openness.
Spend some time in stillness, without needing to think or do anything.
17. Quiet moments can help us become more aware of subtle feelings, intuitive impressions and what arises from within.
18. Respect your own inner guidance while allowing others their own path.

These practices can help us become calmer and happier, but more importantly, they may help us recognise and explore abilities we do not yet fully understand.

If we believe in ourselves and have the discipline to follow this path, we may be surprised by what becomes possible.

Love,

Sandy Stevenson
