THE VALUE OF OUR FORUM AND ITS ACTIVE MEMBERS-SPARKING POWER BETWEEN EACH OTHER

THE VALUE OF OUR FORUM AND ITS ACTIVE MEMBERS

This exchange between Christian and me occurred this morning (err, time for more coffee) 😊

Subject: Processing: Problems/Solutions

Hello Roger,

I woke up today and had this idea in mind about the questions for problems handling.

In the processes and R/Ds we have two kinds of questions to go about it:
1) How have you handled/ are you handling {problem}?
or:
2) How have you solved / are you solving {problem}?

The approach I woke up to expands the questions to ask for

"How did you attend, handle, solve or master {problem}?"

To master the handling or solving of problems we attend to is what it is about.
Ultimately the process restores responsibility connected to our attending and mastering the problem.

Tell me how far off I am? :-)

Btw. in Scientology we were told that ARC combined is understanding (or comprehension).
We were not told what the KRC triangle is about (not to my knowledge).
In my view Knowledge, Responsibility and Control show the level of Mastery, Ability to Handle something or some area or field.

Regarding the "How did you attend, handle, solve or master {problem}?" question I see how I can use it in daily life, because the way I attend to situations and/or problems is part of the Solution I am using.
Looking for "how do you attend" at once hints me towards the attitude and mood I am utilizing.

Just wanted to share with you as I know you can correct my wrong-think or otherwise appreciate any good parts of this "insight/cognition". Seems my team mates worked a night shift to deliver me this insight :-)

I wish you a great day!
Christian

Yep . . . You are correct on all points.

The concept of attending (to) something is a key point . . . Remember our definition of attention is "directed awareness, powers or presence."

In English colloquial we use the phrase "attend to your work (or whatever that requires attention for responsible and correct handling).

I have recently been running the ongoing life process wherein I am constantly paying attention to what involuntarily replicates (turns on, or manifests) when I "connect to" any area of existence. This on an on-going basis because, in playing the game of "Life" I am constantly deploying or applying my awareness to that which I am aligning with or otherwise relating with. And hence my (spiritual) Life-Force empowers or energizes that which I have become aware of (put attention on or attended to) with the result that either the thing involuntarily replicates or responds in harmonious alignment.

Many moons ago I wrote on the point that the physical universe is not a "closed thermodynamic system as 'Science' posits," but one charged by our Spiritual Life Force, particularly when we attend to it or otherwise direct our attention to it.

Hence as I wrote recently here on the Forum, the current thing I am handling on my case on a daily basis is the mechanism by which the earlier Domains of Spiritual Existence recorded in our mind, both mutual and personal, react when enlivened when contacted by our (or my) Spiritual Life-Force content of my awareness.

Thanks for your clever post on this . . . It sparked me to write something that has been sitting on the edge of my mind for quite some time . . . Also, later today (or over the weekend) I need to write up and fully articulate my observations on the correct definition of what the "mind" is . . . Descartes, Jung and all their ilk did not get the subject of the "mind" right.

Yes, Roger!
I remember the definition of attention and the colloquial use of the word "to attend".

Thank you for the ack!
I am still expanding my cognitions on the insight I woke up to in the morning. :-D

Glad to be able to ignite some sparks.  :D
Looking forward to your write-up, Roger.

The only smart thing that came out of Jung's mouth was a wisdom tooth.   )?"

Now that, Sir, is clever . . .

The British are famous for their brand of humour . . . but German humour?? You trying to set a standard? ;D

Hahaha!
I'm German and on my mothers side Polish and  1/8th Russian. That's the blend I guess.
:D

That said, in German (the language Jung was using in his formative years) the word we use for the Mind is "Verstand" which comes from "verstehen", meaning "comprehending". Based on that the mind for the Germans is understood as a comprehension device of sorts.
