SECURING YOUR IMMEDIATE FUTURE

Immediate because we are referencing the next months/years . . . not decades or next lifetimes.
I am posting this for you guys I care about and who are wise enough to take notice of these issues.
On Saturday last, doing my regular weekly food shopping, I was struck by the holes in the array of foods available . . . cooking oils (olive oil 95% missing). Olive oil is the only culinary oil I use . . . but the other oils also were way thin. During the last year I have collided with frequent absence of lamb, my preferred meat. This in the largest food store in Manhattan, and very much the Flag Ship of the WholeFoods Markets organization that is now part of Amazon.com.
As I have noted in earlier posts, the drop in planetary temperaters has screwed up crop yields world wide. Last year, and worse this year. Scan through the earlier reports on the website I am linking below.
Indeed, I was surprised this morning when my sister wrote me to wish me "Happy Birthday" (I turned 86 today) as in part of her message was the report that the land her house/property sits on is "flooded" . . . not awash, thankfully, that can't happen as she is above all that, but the rains have been so heavy and continuous that the ground simply could not drain. She reports that her attempt to get out to do some food shopping resulted in her getting stuck in the mud, and had to call on a neighbor to help get her unstuck . . . shopping deferred! Marie lives up in teh high ground of the Blue Mountains behind Cairnes Queensland.
Personally, I have laid down canned protein (fish and beef) and millet, quinoa, dried brewers yeast, and flax seed.
