The above title is sincerely meant and not over dramatic.

Being aware of many of my earlier lifetimes on this planet, I can vouch for the fact that failure to learn from history, and failure to respond to and apply the knowledge gained from sound scientific studies, is a recipe for unnecessary suffering.

Historically, my observation is that if/when one has sufficient correct knowledge, one can correctly predict and handle the future.

I have seen my 87th birthday come and go, and my prediction/expectation is that I will be leaving this body at age 96 . . . though this is subject to revision.

This said in the context that I may well be spared the drama of maintaining a bodily function during the predicted mini-ice age and its affect on food and other resources availability.

For you younger guys, you do have a future you need to correctly plan for handling.
