What a day this is turning out to be!
After posting the above, and returning to my email traffic, I collided with the post copied below from the International Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS).
It is perhaps the best and most remarkable and beautiful, as well as truthful, dissertation on the experience of death.
Obviously, it is written by a person not familiar with our kind of technology, and also one raised in the Judeo-Christian Western human culture.
I'll not comment further on this for now, but let you all come to your own realizations and appreciation (and I just felt our Paul, who left us around 5 or 6 years ago, come through in appreciation of what I wrote above.
