I came across the below post this morning. Coincidentally I spotted that part of the heart's action is that of sucking/drawing blood into (from memory) the Left Ventricle, hence causing an area of low pressure in the system into which blood is drawn. The idea that the heart only pushes blood around the body is not the complete truth.

In any event, what I found this morning in the below quoted piece I found to be even more definitive.

   “They taught you the heart was just a glorified meat pump. That it squeezes and pushes blood like some crude mechanical device. A hydraulic engine made of flesh. That is what they want you to believe. Because if you buy into that primitive lie, you never ask deeper questions.

But it is false. It has always been false. And the real science proves it.
Dr. Francisco Torrent-Guasp, a Spanish cardiac researcher, discovered what the textbooks refuse to acknowledge, that the heart is not a pump. He dissected thousands of hearts and found that the heart is a single continuous muscle band, folded into a spiral.
 
He proved the heart works like a vortex generator, creating suction and torque, not pressure.
He called it the Helical Ventricular Myocardial Band and it changes everything.
The real movement of blood comes from pressure differentials, electromagnetic flow, and coherent resonance. The blood spirals naturally.
It does not need to be forced through miles of arteries and capillaries. That idea is beyond stupid. The so-called pump is not strong enough to push thick fluid through 60,000 miles of tubing. That is basic physics. That lie was dead on arrival.
 
Here is the truth. Blood moves before the heart forms in the embryo. It flows via frequency, resonance, and electric charge. The body is a field, not a factory.
 
Your heart creates a toroidal electromagnetic field that radiates six metres from the body. This field syncs with the Earth, the Sun, and every living being around you.
 
It is a resonator. A tuner. A conductor. It aligns the rhythm of your cells. It feels. It remembers. It emits. And it responds to emotion, thought, light, sound, and breath.
When you feel love, grief, fear, or peace, your heart transmits it. It is the central frequency modulator of your biology. Not a pump.
 
And the institutions know this. The HeartMath Institute has measured these fields for decades. They know the heart has more neuronal cells than parts of the brain. They know it is a second brain. They know coherence in the heart transforms the entire nervous system.
 
So why are they still teaching children a 400-year-old guess from William Harvey that has never been updated?
Because if you knew the truth, you would never accept statins or beta blockers again. You would understand that trauma, emotion, and disconnection break the heart field, not cholesterol.
You would stop obeying the medical cartel and start tuning your body like the intelligent frequency field it is.
They do not want coherent humans. They want disrupted, inflamed, fragmented people who rely on drugs to survive. That is the business model. And the fake heart pump lie is central to it.
Your heart is not a pressure valve. It is a vortex. A field tuner. A resonating gateway between physical and energetic worlds.

The missing piece in the research is the spiritual team work to make the heart function.

I was just in session and something reminded me of this post.
And something else came to my mind.

Some 100 years ago scientists stopped to use the term Aether in physics.

Definition:
Aether (or Ether) was a hypothetical substance proposed in ancient and medieval science, and later in physics, to explain phenomena like the propagation of light and gravity. It was imagined as an invisible, all-pervading medium filling space, through which light waves and other forces could travel.


This term was used for a long time and disappeared at once in early 1920s.
Science became even more "materialistic" from this moment on.

Interestingly, when I was in my teens I was training Tae Kwon Do (Korean martial arts) by a Korean master and his sons. They talked a lot about aether, though they used different terms. The idea was that life force energy is being carried by means of this "substance".

From personal experience, the heart is my inner compass. In session and in life.
When I'm in a high mood level, spacious and (idiomatically) "open hearted" my sphere of perception of the subtle energies in my environment is increasing.

Long time ago I visited a family member in the hospital. The person was in a very low mood level. I could see it by the physical indicators but also sense it directly. Their field was a certain way and I was sensing it and able to change the entire field by intention. The person quickly brightened up, the chest opened up, the sadness disappeared. 
It was years later when I first read in Scientology: Fundamentals of Thought that we could influence the "electrical field". Books like Scientology 8-80 and such followed and I was always fascinated by this -- because I knew the phenomena is real.
Of course talking about it on course was not all to welcome as "only OTs could pull this off" 

Heart, brain and other organs (including the spine and nervous system) are of course just devices in this physical domain. But play an important navigational role.
Does the heart have an intelligence (as mentioned in the article)?
My perspective is a bit different.
Mind is not located in any physical location. But when we, as spiritual presences, are fully in harmony and resonance wiht our components there is a free flow of information and we can fully interface the different components. Super consciousness is accessible because there is no friction, no low mood levels, nothing accessed. And the body feels open and well, the heart "glows" or feels "sweet" (and all the beautiful descriptions people come up with). All the energies are dancing in resonance.
Anyone who had a big win or a blow out in session knows.

Therefore I don't think the heart has intelligence (nor does the brain) but the spiritual being, by use of his intelligence, increases the activity in these parts of the body. All of this is connected to Life Force and their lower expressions as "electromagnetic fields" and such.

Same goes for Sheldrakes theories. The fields are products of intelligence that are enabled to further produce outcomes by means of instruction. But the instructions were set up by intelligence.

All above my personal insights and I don't claim accuracy. Just my current paradigm that may change over time if new insights come to view.

Yes,a wonderful and correctly conceived of write up, Christian.

You are correct on all points.

In 1887, two researchers, Michelson and Morley, carried out an experiment in an attempt to measure the the motion of the Earth relative to the luminiferous aether, that was believed by all of science to be the medium through which and by which light waves were carried through space.

The experiment failed to measure and thus prove the existence of the ether (aether).

To their dying days, Michelson and Morley considered they had somehow failed in their experiment, such was the prevailing certainty of the ether's existence.

However, the practice of Science (which some pundits within it referring to it as the religion of "scientism") is such that there is a fanaticism to be first with the next "clever think"!

The next clever think turned out to be Einstein's Special Relativity postulate.

I have long looked at all of this carry-on by the practitioners of "scientism," and observe they are hung up in the belief in the proposition that ALL is physical energy and matter . . . and, of course they have no idea of where from or how it all came into being . . . particularly since most of them have abandoned the idea of there being a causative "God."

The prevailing belief held by Scientism is that, out of nothing, the Big Bang exploded everything into existence with the resulting sub-atomic particles being able to aggregate into atoms, then molecules and then on to higher aggregations leading to life forms such as human bodies.

The Joker in the Pack, of course, is that Science as it stands cannot state nor define what energy actually is or is composed of; i.e., what is the stuff of it . . .

Go to any science dictionary, or the Bible of it all, The Encyclopedia Britannica, and note that the scientific definition of "Energy" is: "The capacity for doing work, or the ability to do work."

To be noted is that Scientism's convoluted thinking is such that this ability or capacity to perform (a human trait) is magically converted into matter and molecules! (Remember, Einstein gave us the notion that energy and matter are equivalencies). 

Looking at all of this as I have for the last 75 years, I observe that all of the propositions, research and experiments carried out by science is based on and from the position of being at the effect point of the physical universe in or as their relationship to it.

I have seen nothing in the literature or discussions relating to the universe in which "we live" that in any way posits a causative relationship or non-effect/affected position vis-à-vis life (humanity) and the physical realm.

That strikes me as a major omission, flunk and blind-spot by the practitioners of "Science" that asks us for our trust.

So, what is the alternative to the current practice, belief and think of "Scientism" that would resolve the dilemma they are in?

Restore the belief, understanding, and practice of an awareness of humanity's underlying Spiritual existence which was caused to be abandoned by a dishonest and power fixated Religious Hierarchy at the turn of the 16th Century . . . remember, even before Galileo famously failed to convince the Pope that the Earth "moved through the Heavens," in February, 1600AD, Giordano Bruno was burned at the stake for championing what we today refer to as scientific beliefs such as the "Copernican Model" (that the Earth is not the center of the Universe, and that it moves around the Sun).

Hence, since that time it became very dangerous to practice true science (the word means knowledge, or to know, in Latin) that would include any reference to any spiritual existence or be seen to trespass on the domain of truths as held inviolable by the Pope and the Church of Rome.

Hence, practicing scientists of the day were caused to stick strictly to the investigation of the physical universe only, and this sundering of the two basic parts of existence: the physical (Matter, Energy, Space and Time) and the Spiritual (the truths of our basic "inner" existence, abilities, powers, capacities and virtues) has led to the current incapacity of "Scientism" being able to appreciate any understanding of the truths of our human spiritual existence and it's relationship to and part in the existence of the physical.

Science, and particularly Scientism, as it happens, is based on a practice of building upon and expanding earlier precedents of discovery . . . these, of course, do not exist on the matter of any spiritual existence due to dishonest proscription by Papal dictate and the Church.
