Online searchable Alan's Lightlink alt.clearing archive

I guess that's what Rupert Sheldrake calls morphogenetic fields!  :D

Completely unaware that this section existed on this forum, last week my attention got drawn (once again) to Alan's old posts on alt.clearing — I wanted to make it searchable and more accessible and here is the result:

https://xhumanoid.com/alan/lightlink/

My approach was to reduce as much as possible manual editing, and use the posts as-is, since they are (mostly) already valid markdown. With a bit a python scripting to 'massage the text' and an open-source documentation framework (mkdocs) it was possible to automate the entire process in order to reduce manual editing to the minimum and let existing open-source tools do all the job.

Feedback and suggestions are welcome!

In case it might be useful to anyone I've published all the source code, i.e. the markdown files and the mkdocs config file in this github project:

https://github.com/glowinthedark/acw

The generated pages can also be viewed directly on github via github pages:

Feel free to fork the project and make modifications
