READING AND USING THE METER . . . Part 1

READING AND USING THE METER

Note that header has two parts:  a) Reading and, b) Using, the meter.

As I wrote in an earlier dictum . . . meter reading is simple.  The needle reacts or it does not react.  That is really all you need to know.

And what is an actual "reaction" or "read"?  It is the existing current action of needle movement or pattern of movement and/or the Resistance Value (Tone Arm position) being caused to change . . . that is, any change that occurs in response to what goes on in the client's universe or "mind."  More on this later.

And there is a basis behind why it "reads" or reacts, and that basis is this.

First is an understanding of what "Charge" is.  It is a word that has been thrown about for ages, but often not understood, either in the human betterment arena or in some areas of science.  Indeed, even Science cannot define or state definitively what energy actually is; what it the "stuff" of it.  In physics, the greatest science minds of the ages have only come up with the definition of energy as being: "capacity for doing work."  Nowhere is it revealed what is the stuff of it or of what it is composed or comprised of. 

And I refer you to this point on "energy" because "energy" has everything to do with what "charge" is.

If a spiritual Presence is operating perfectly and in harmony with all it relates with, its flows and reciprocation of spiritual Life-Force, simply flow as directed and are in exchange but do not hang up.

My personal definition of "energy" is, at its basic and beginning is: directed spiritual Life-Force that may have been formed or not.  In Knowledgism, you'll see different names used to convey the notion of what it is we Beings use in our exchanges with each other: . . . Alan often refers to "Spirita" (Scn folks use the word "Theta") and he often refers to "Life-Force particles" and also "Attention units or bits."

He also mentions that this stuff is of us ourselves . . . thus that which is projected can be a part of ourself, our actual Being.

To be observed is the point that, when all is harmonious and in alignment, there are no hang-ups and the Life-Force simply flows.  This is seen on a meter as a Floating Needle (FN).

When there is (an event or occasion of) disharmony, conflict, pain, unwanted and resisted or opposed sensation or experience, then, the spiritual Life-Force jams and becomes encysted.

And it is these "standing waves" of jammed and encysted Life-Force that form the "charge" we refer to that has to be unlocked and set freely flowing and restored to being under our knowing control again.

We have two definitions of "Charge" in Knowledgism.  1) Accumulated energy.  And, as it happens that is precisely one of the definitions in regular and science dictionaries. Thus it is to be noted that encysted spiritual Life-Force is a matter of accumulating/ed energy!  The second definition we have is: #2) Negative spiritual Life-Force that is out of our control and is unknown to the individual.  Thus, here too the "energy accumulates."

Thus, what makes the meter react, is when our live spiritual awareness or attention touches any such accumulated standing wave of encysted spiritual Life-Force (an area of accumulated energy) and that encysted Life-Force to varying degrees revivifies (comes alive) or discharges to the degree it is permeated or otherwise activated.

The needle reaction pattern is variable, depending on the nature and content of what is activated or otherwise how much quanta of accumulated energy is released.

And that is the simplicity of it.

Next, one has the datum of when it reacts . . . it reacts when the spiritual Being contacts a part of existence that is charged.

And here we have the next simplicity . . . the judgment of whether the meter read/reaction is something to follow-up on or not.

Diving around following up random reads cum meter needle reactions is a very bad idea.  That is the way to get yourself scattered all over the universes with "too many windows open."

You'll have heard chatter about "latent reads" and "prior reads" . . . well, that is a little too simplistic also.

Correct processing follows a precise "formula." 

In session, the action of running a process consists of: a) asking the client a question they understand and can answer, b) allowing the question or command to either trigger an answer or response or otherwise to allow the client to search for and find the answer, c) allowing the client to fully inspect what comes to view or is otherwise found and, d) letting the client fully relate to you what has been found and to fully discharge the charge present and restore any negativity to positive.

Formal sessions should always be conducted with an understanding of what subject or area of case or process is going to be addressed.  And it is this that determines what needle action/reactions are followed up on.

Once the session has formally begun and the subject or case area is known and agreed upon with the client, it can happen that the client's attention will automatically go to the important issues to be handled and "random" meter reactions can occur simply because the client "thinks thoughts" or that his/her attention drifts to hot areas to handle.

If you are in session and "random reads/reactions" occur  . . . check in on it.  Use a question like: "Got your attention on something there?" or "Something come to view there?"  You and client will both know the correct response J

The issue of "Prior" or "Latent" meter reads/reactions really is only an issue when you are using the meter to find something specific, such as in the case of doing a Correction List to handle By-Passed Charge or a sour session or, using an Assessment List such as the Knowledgism Upset-Setup Assessment to find the source and cause of upset to the prior named and known setup. (Note this R/D requires one find and make known the prior POSITVE which area of existence is then assessed to find the Negative that knocked out the Positive.)

In this case the needle/meter reaction considered to be valid is that reaction that occurs at the exact instant the client "gets" the question . . . but you can be fooled by this dictum as laid down by "some practices."  Experienced and trained processors when in session, either solo or when being processed by another can "get" the question before it is delivered (fully) by the processor because they know what the question is going to be.  Thus, such a "random" read should be checked as above: "Anything come to view?"  or "Something come to view for you?"  "Something you've got your attention on, or thought a thought there?"

Similarly, a "latent" read may be valid because it sometimes happens that the client is a little slow in truly getting the question . . . and the meter reads when he does get it.  Thus, again, you check: "You think something there?"

Here you take the client's answer  . . . the client is ALWAYS SENIOR TO THE METER.

I know of many folks who've been mightily screwed up in a former practice because the processor refused to take the client truth/data and insisted on asserting what the meter was "saying."

Here is a true story example.  This guy went to the ranch some years ago because, as a salesman, he was wanting to improve his performance and increase income.  He was utterly new to this kind of thing, and this was his first experience of processing.  The idiot in charge of tech delivery put him in session with a total rookie processor, actually a student just joined staff.  The selected process was one of the "Trust List Processes."  It's an assessment list to locate any and all societal or behavioral violations that could cause a Being to be withdrawn or secretive and to thus not be in full possession of powers and ability to communicate and influence the environment.  Some here from a former practice will remember the infamous Johannesburg Security Check (Jo'Burg Sec Check).

What a destructive action that was . . . the Case Supervisor, without interviewing the client assumed the new guy had violations that had to be first cleaned up!  Personally, I'd have had him address some positive ability and restoration of powers processes like "Dones and Restraints" on money, selling and such and "Responsibility" in the area . . . and if any indications of nasty stuff came up to then prepare a violations handling on the subject he came in to have handled!

Apart from the whole silly parade being unreal to the new client . . . and that was bad enough . . . when the question, "Have you ever had sex with animals?" was asked, the meter reacted so violently it nearly fell of the table.  And here is where the rooky processor did the damage.  Seeing the meter reaction she "intently" followed up and persisted with accusations that there was something "there" as the meter reacted on the question.

Well, yes, it did.  The meter will react on and because of several things: protest, disagreement, a non/not-understood, a misunderstanding and even a mental action by the client of the thinking of "what an idiot!" "What the F*** is she on about!"  Newly originated client thought and/or intended intentions all read on the meter.  In actuality, the meter reacted because of a compound of reasons . . . not only was the client offended by the question, as it was, along with the general session action not on his interest line or on what he'd come to have handled, he didn't understand WTF*** this was all about . . . .and all this on top of the fact that the sweet girl rooky was actually not able to be fully present with the client due to her own newbie raw case state!

The processor cannot assume the meter reaction is on what he/she might expect.  You don't tell the client what is, YOU ASK!  "Something on that?"  And let the client get it off to you.

I don't expect to have to be coaching you guys on how to handle dishonest clients who have known to them violations they are keeping secret . . . personally, I simply give them a little advice and if they do not take it, then they are off my lines!

Clients need to understand that for as long as they are withholding truth and hiding the fullness of themselves and not being fully willing to be permeated and fully "duplicated" and known, then they are sabotaging themselves and keeping themselves withdrawn, small and disempowered.  They will be drastically out of communication and not able to control their environment as they should be able to.

Sometimes an honest client cannot "get all" because it's still a little buried, or otherwise "the all" was gotten, gone past and missed, and the expected meter manifestation of the FN is not seen.  Again one does NOT badger the client and accuse them of "not coming clean" or some other destructive nonsense as occurs in a cult some here witnessed.  You sort out why the "expected" meter action has not occurred and handle.

    This write-up is excellent. 

    What's key here is the attention to the needs and opinions of client being processed.  This is where the old tech (Scn) missed the boat.  A Knowledgeism processor isn't a dominator.   

    Additionally, your comments as to latent and prior reads blows the "instant read" tech of Scn away.  (The amount of time and effort spent discerning the precise end of a question was insane IMHO.)  

    There are many features of domination that Scn employed in metering that made processing a complex chore.    

    Thankfully, we appear to have evolved beyond that.

    Yes, it was/is insane.

    And all because of the indulgence of an altered importance. . . . Scn got into the think that auditors had to control the client and session and all that nonsense. 

    In actuality, the only control point a truly great processor has, is at the point of deciding which process or R/D to use . . . and even then, he should consult the understanding of the client and be sure the client is in accord.  Nothing is more stupid than to be running a process on a client who either does not understand it or does not agree with it being the right process to handle what the client has attention on wanting to handle!!

    But, the cult of Scn did specialize on that form of abuse.

    More later as this subject opens up.

    SETTING UP YOUR METER AND SESSION

    Ok, I have just collided with one of our members who knew nothing about the above and who also added in stuff from "where?" he did not know.  Hence this ditty.

    It also just came to me that various members will likely be using different types of e-meters, ABLs, and/or other "instruments."  I've seen and used many, beginning in the '50's with the original "blue metal case" job.

    Also these instructions may appear rather pedantic and to be addressing utter, utter novices . . . well, I just learned during a Skype coaching chat that one of our members did not know why it was that when he "set his meter up by turning it on (without cans plugged in), set it to "2 sensitivity," then plugged his cans in but without any hand grip, that the needle instantly blew up off the dial.  I'll not give you rest of the drama.

    So we are going to go very basic here to be sure nothing is missed for any of you.

    I am not up to date with the latest super-duper CofS e-meters.  My last CofS meter was the 1980 Mk VI.  That and its related meters needed to often be calibrated . . . that is, checked to sure 2.0 and 3.0 were reading true as to ohms of resistance.  My Clarity Meter (my preferred meter made by Hank Levin) and the ABLs I had from the ranch stay true and do not require recalibration.  I don't know about the other meters on the market.  Thus it is possible my friend this morning was thinking in terms of some old verbal data regarding setting the calibration for 2.0 on the meter rather than sensitivity . . . I did not bother to get into untangling that one.

    In any event, this is the drill for setting up the meter and the session each time.  If your meter is one that needs calibration checked, do it away from sessions.

    Attached is a scan of the notes made at the beginning of one of my solo sessions including meter set up.

    You need to date and number each page as they are started . . .

    Then, top left: note the time, noting AM or PM.

    So, at this point one has the cans plugged into the meter, and you turn the meter on, then pick up the cans using two hands, one on each part of the solo cans if this is a solo session.  Use your knuckle to adjust the knob or button to reset the resistance value (TA) position.  If you are processing a client who uses two cans, one in each hand, you do not need to set the resistance value for one-handed solo.

    Next, opposite the time, on the right hand side of the column, note the resistance value (RV) (we used to call it the TA position) USING TWO HANDS.  This to get the correct RV relative to and in the terms of all the information earlier tech development.  Note it is a two handed setting.

    Next, IF YOU ARE DOING SOLO, place the cans in the one hand you use in solo, center the needle on the dial and, below the time write down what the needed sensitivity setting is for the session . . . this can vary day to day and even within a session.  This setting is derived from doing a gentle but complete can squeeze and adjusting the sensitivity knob or button till you get the needle dipping to the right about three-quarters of the distance from center to the right side (on my meter, about 2.25-2.5 inches) 

    Next, write down the RV you have using one-handed solo cans . . . it will be higher than your two-handed RV . . something in the range of 1.0 divs (example 3,0 two-handed: 4.0 one-handed)  but often between only 0.5 and 1.0 divs higher.  Don't fuss over this, it will be what it is.  Note it is the one-handed setting.

    Next, now that your sens is set, check for metabolism: deep breath (I get a good lung full and hold a second at the top) . . . note the meter response (it should fall . . . if not, you might not be sessionable . . . but I check again after breathing out and building up a little oxygen debt or doing some little vigorous exercise in the chair to build the bodily oxygen demand . . . then I do get a proper metab read)  Note the metab read on the left under the Time and Sens

    Next, zero out the accumulated RV change value so that what then is the number at end of session is the actual RV accumulated change (charge blown in session) that does not include that generated during the set-up.  Note this in the right under the two RV position notes.

    In the attached scan you'll see in red I have noted the action and case gain of the particular session . . . this so, if I need to consult these records I can find them.

    The mechanics behind the phenomena of meter construction and use can be Googled . . . It'll save us from putting it here.

    But, just to be sure you have this particular point, my friend this morning didn't understand that when he did not have the cans in his hand(s) there was no complete circuit for the battery current to run through and so, the resistance was absolute as though trying to read through an insulator . . . that is, it was why the needle jumped up to the left when he plugged the cans jack in while at the same time not holding the cans. Conversely, if you touch the two cans you short out the circuit giving it NO resistance and the needle will crash off to the right side.  Holding the cans puts your body into and as part of the circuit.

    It is to be noted that the above sequence of steps is exact and exactly so for a reason . . . . if you get them out of order, you screw up getting it completed: as an example, you can't get the metab read till you've set the sens.

    It is rather like the old joke from our days as Vikings . . . we used to love to come ashore for a little bit of rape, pillage, burning and killing . . . but, some idiots would screw up the correct sequence and that only ever resulted in no goodies.  If you kill or burn first, it destroys the fun and profit of the rape and pillage!

    By the way . . . .

    Learning to "read" a meter is EASY.  You do not need to consider it to be complex or difficult and make it so!

    As I have often said, I taught Virginia the use of the meter by telling her to simply take it into session, solo, and simply observe its action without trying to "use" it.  Just run your sessions as you have already done without the meter.  My instruction to her was that this is how she'd learn and experience what the meter action and reads are relative to her extant familiarity with case change in session.

    She quickly became competent and with no drama.

    For any who might shy away from that, then the alternative is to use your meter while reading anything you have to study . . .  don't try and "use" the meter in the beginning, just observe what it does as compared to what you perceive occurring in your mind while reading.

    It really is that simple!

    But also, remember to match this physical actuality experience with the theoretical notes in these two threads on meter reading.  Then you'll have all you need to know to be competent with the meter.

    Hello,

    I never done Solo-Auditing on a Meter before, i would need a hand here.

    I tried what is mentioned in this post: Reading and Using the Meter Part 1, few pieces confuses me.

    I do not know if it is me who missed something or not, but the Theta-Meter that i am using do not seem to behave correctly on me or i do something wrong.

    For One Handed Solo-Auditing:
    On a Sheet of Paper i put Time on Top Left and Date on Top Right of the Sheet of Paper:
    I plug the Cans on the Meter, turn ON the meter
    I put 2 Hands on the Solo-Cans, with the two hands still holding the Cans, i Reset the RV (TA)
    I note the RV (TA) on the Sheet of Paper using 2 hands while holding the Can
    I put the Solo Cans in One Hand.
    I Reset again the RV (TA) to Center the Needle on the Dial.
    I Squeeze the Cans and adjust the Sensitivity, until it Falls to the Right about 3/4 of the way.
    I note of the paper the RV
    I Reset the RV (TA) again
    I check for Metabolism, it falls about Half way to the Right.
    I Reset the RV again
    I take Note of that Final RV on the paper

    (( Then this issue comes up: The Meter Start to Rise on the Left all the way down, then Reset by Itself and Continue to Rise and Reset Itself again like in a loop ))

    If anybody can give me a hand it will be appreciated.

    Hoopie . . .

    What you are describing sounds like a SOARING Resistance Value  . . .  historically, this indicated an overrun of a process or the cleaning of a clean.  That is, trying to handle something that is no longer there , , , and going into session expecting it to be there will drive the RV (old language, TA) up.  It can also occur when you are trying to handle something incorrectly such that, having missed the truth of it, all one then only accomplishes is the driving of Life-Force into the area which shows as a soaring RV.

    However, there is a similar phenomenon where the needle rises . . . this is the gentle needle rising, not the monster continuous soaring  you describe.  I wrote a piece on this for our PREMIUM Members few weeks ago . . . but you need the info, so I won't keep it in the paying (Premium) section where I post our new research findings and give case advice.

    The title of the piece is                  RISE READS ON THE METER

    This issue of a Rise Read and/or a Rising Needle when you address new case or a case item . . . this being distinct from over-running an item or process or cleaning a clean (as in there was/is nothing to handle) . . . is something that has been asked of me twice in the last few days.

    This copied following is the email I just sent to one of the guys:

    By the way . . . there is a thing about "Rise Reads" on the meter.  What we have found is that when you are actually attempting to address or handle case items as your own (or from the position/belief that it will be or is yours) but in fact it belongs to a Spiritual Teammate or Team, the needle will produce a Rise Read (just like a fall but in reverse).

    The reason for this is that, in trying to handle case that it not yours but instead is owned/sourced by a spiritual TM/Team, you won't/can't discharge it but instead it beefs up as it manifests with increased charge and builds up mass as shown by the needle rise.

    If you ask: "Is this a spiritual Teammate's or a Team's?" you will likely get a blow down of the charge because you have spotted the correct source.  Trying to handle case that is not yours as though your own only beefs it up . . . you have to get/determine correct ownership and source as part of the truth needed to correctly handle it.

    The handling is per our "Miracles and Magic" Spiritual Teammate Handling procedure.

    Recently, on my own case as I venture into the cleaning up of my Earlier Universes Spiritual Domains of Existence, I have been finding that the moment I start session and begin to handle what I perceive to be the case to handle, I have found the meter to react with a Rise Read on contact with and address to the "thing/item" to handle.  Knowing this technical point, my instant response is to check: "Spiritual Teammate or Team?"

    Getting the correct "Whose is it" is vital to being able to resolve the area of case.

    Assuming something to be yours when it is not is a killer . . . It's the "Wrong Source" issue and Mis-Ownership issue that lies behind and has caused a lot of our case strife.

    For you advanced guys, the thing you can benefit from knowing is that, when we created/co-created our Home Universe, it was an action wherein we created ourselves with the Beings that became our Spiritual Team Presence to be a Presence that viewed itself as though a "oneness" to address and handle all the other Presences in the game.  Hence, our Spiritual Team members became as though part of our extended and empowered self that we relied on just as we rely on our physical arms and legs today.

    Hence, today it is easy to mistake what our individual Spiritual Teammates are experiencing or perceiving as our own.

    Recognizing and honoring correct source of what is, is one of the key processing correct actions we have to perform . . . this in life as well as processing sessions.

    I have been sharing all the details of the progress of my condition with many people.  Our friends on the Forum, our friends in the Farmers Market and colleagues who want to know.  Lately I have been wondering if I have been sharing too much about my condition.

    However, when I read this paragraph in Roger's post I realized that by being willing to share as much details as I have been, I have been empowering Me and empowering the healing of Me. 

    I have been absolutely willing to be Known and Duplicated, and this has brought about miraculous spiritual and physical changes. 

    Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the healing of Me.

    Being absolutely willing to be/remain spiritually present and determining what is known and contributed to is the way to win.

    Folks who are keeping secrets and the truths of themselves (have kepts) from others are in fact sabotaging their Presence and spiritual Powers . . . such action by them violates basically all of their Spiritual Pillars of Power.

    Being able to be fully Present and Known is the way to have and control the Conditions of Existence you choose to have!

    As a tangential follow on to this discussion of empowering the healing of Me:
    A few days ago while doing Presence with Roger  I realized that, while this "adventure" was not necessarily one I would have chosen to go through, it has reinforced my Sureness and Confidence in my positive code and all of my spiritual abilities. 
     
    After having conquered this condition and brought about what I wanted to have happen, I have absolutely no doubts about my spiritual abilities.  I know I can bring about exactly what I want to have happen.

    Sourcing Exactly What I Wanted to Have Happen

    As a follow up to my January 9th post, "while this "adventure" was not necessarily one I would have chosen to go through, it has reinforced my Sureness and Confidence in my positive code and all of my spiritual abilities. "

    Back in May, when we first discovered this mass, I decided to use alternative, non-invasive treatments.  The growth of the mass was arrested but not reversed.  I decided to use conventional medicine because I was running out of time.

    The other morning I realized that having the chemo cocktails allowed me to fulfill my wish of using non-invasive treatments, which shrunk the mass by 70%.  This has now given me the time to use alternative treatments.

    So I fulfilled my want of non-invasive treatment.  This has reinforced my Sureness and Confidence in my positive code and all of my spiritual abilities.  I will continue to address my condition on my terms.
