We are so used to look for the NEGATIVES that it's almost habitual to overlook the importance of looking for the POSITIVES.

Subject: Question about Incident Handling
Hi Rog!

How you doing? 😃

If you like I can post the question on the forum and continue the conversation there.

The last revision of the HOLOGRAPHIC INCIDENT HANDLING PROCEDURE from 21 June 2000, question 7 asks:

“Holographically experience what happened from that point to present time, telling me what occurred as you go.”

What I don't get is "to present time", maybe an old datum from the earlier tech is still in place when they said to run to the end of the incident and then repeat, so how is the correct way to run it?

My answer in reply is this:

Ahh, clever question!

In fact, Hubbard's "to the end of the incident" is really dumb, because when you handle incidents that way, that's where you end up positioned and can get stuck thinking that's the right or best place to be located . . . NOPE!!

The right and correct place to be and operate from is HERE IN THE PRESENT  . . . AND THAT IS WHY IT IS WISE, BEST AND PROPER TO CLEAN THE INCIDENT AND ITS AFTERMATH FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE INCIDENT TO PRESENT TIME.

Heavens knows what consequential changes developed after the incident that have carried to Present Time that should and need be dealt with.

READING YOUR NICE POST above Christian caused me to see something.

The Scientology "enterprise" from day one was "out Ethics" . . . what Hubbard was "selling" the suckers was not what Hubbard was on about. His schtik  (Yiddish) a devious trick; a bit of cheating) was do what was needed to make some money . . . studying the history of Scn, one can learn that his constant presentation of new "services" and rundowns was in order to generate $$$'s, not to benefit the public.

Hence, what good tech there was couldn't go in.  It would superficially impress and dazzle. . . .  but did it get in and stay in???

Umm, yes!

One of my particularly enjoyed "tricks" when at the Ranch dealing with students on course was, instead of the usual commands used in drills such as, "Be Present" or "How big are you?" . . . I would ask/use:

"As a Spiritual Being, be present."

and, "As a spiritual Being, how big are you?"

Very different questions . . . very different outcomes!!

In the past few months, I have been having trouble with things appearing on the road and running into them with my car.  I had run into a tire on the highway which caused me a bunch of damage to my car's front end. I have been making fairly significant identity changes using the Presence 3 rundown with the expert processing help of Roger. I attributed these car driving collision problems to all the spiritual changes I had created via my processing causing involuntary replications (IVR).

Last month I experienced another completely surreal accident with my volvo car. As I was driving along a two lane highway, a tree fell into the highway just ahead of me and I was unable to stop or avoid it. I did manage to swerve around the main part of the tree but I did some damage to the bumper of my car. What was surreal was I actually watched the tree fall in from of me and the whole scene was, it seemed, in slow motion. Thus I went into the zone to avoid a serious accident but why was I there at this exact time to witness the falling of the tree and create more damage to my car.

Roger pointed out that perhaps I had lost some of my Spiritual bigness that was protecting me from chaos of the world. The "loss" of my longtime identities (the outlaw and the illegitimacy among others) via processing had collapsed my protective space and now I was under assault by chaos when driving.

This situation and analysis got me thinking about spiritual bigness. We have a simple rundown called VF1 which asks, "how big are you?". I'd done this numerous times especially at Alan Walter's Ranch in Texas. I never really understood what bigness really meant. I saw it as the expansion of a bubble around me that seemed to get big and then contract. What I failed to realize was that that bubble of bigness was actually me the Spiritual Being. The bubble wasn't some area of space around me, it was ME. I was the space. I was the energetic presence. I wasn't able to see this until now  because I was being a physical universe body identity.
